Remove almond skins easily with this simple technique.
Place 200 grams (7 oz) of almonds in boiling water for one minute. Remove from the boiling water.
Press the almonds with your fingers to remove the skins. Rinse, arrange on a baking tray and bake at 60°C (140°F) for 5 minutes. Cool completely. You can make blanched almond meal (flour) with these blanched almonds.
