Try this version of Waldorf salad with pineapple and pecans.
Peel and core one fresh pineapple, and cut into cubes. You could use canned pineapple as well.
Peel one celery root, and cut into julienne strips using a mandoline. Julienne 2 Granny Smith apples. Add a teaspoon of salt and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper, or to taste. Roughly chop 50 – 100 grams of pecans, add and mix.
Dress the salad with 100 grams of mayonnaise everything well. Visit to find a homemade mayonnaise recipe. Transfer to a serving dish, and enjoy!
